Spring Lake, We’re Getting Closer

We wanted to share a quick update as Marée continues coming together in Spring Lake.

Over the past few weeks we’ve made some major progress behind the scenes. We recently passed our full rough plumbing inspection along with our sprinkler tests, and drywall has officially started going up throughout the space. For the first time, it’s beginning to feel less like a construction site and more like the restaurant we’ve been envisioning for a long time.

Over the next several weeks we’ll continue pushing through finishes, flooring, patio installation, kitchen equipment, bar buildout, and seating. Each phase brings the space a little closer to feeling complete.

We’ve also been spending a lot of time working with Executive Chef Mike Smithling on the menu. We’re not quite ready to share everything yet, but we’re excited about where it’s heading and can’t wait to start giving people a look at what’s coming out of the kitchen.

On the hiring side, the response from the community has been incredible. We recently opened several positions and have been blown away by the number of people reaching out who want to be part of Marée.

There’s still a lot of work ahead of us, but the energy around the project continues to build and we’re excited to keep sharing progress as we move toward opening.
